Entryway
Social media templates
Entryway is nonprofit organization with 11 locations (or markets) nationwide that focuses on transitioning individuals experiencing situational homelessness to stable careers in the multifamily industry. I worked with Entryway during my one-year AmeriCorps VISTA service.
Each market is managed by an executive director who is in charge of operations, marketing, fundraising, and other job functions. Most EDs do not have the time nor skill to create social media posts from scratch. To alleviate this burden, I created social media templates for current and upcoming markets to use as they expand.
Strategy
We wanted the social media templates to be evergreen and could be reused by multiple Entryway markets. Below were the types of posts I created:
Success stories: These were essential to Entryway’s mission. I used stories and quotes from past participants to highlight the impact that the organization did.
Partners: Industry partners were the main audience for Entryway’s social media posts. Mentioning them and thanking them helped maintain the good relationship.
Statistics: Real numbers illustrated the urgency and importance of an organization like Entryway.
Event promotion: Entryway markets liked to host annual fundraisers at Topgolf, so I created some templates that they could use year after year.

Testimonial
“We were so sorry when Quynh’s service year was up with Entryway! She was a great addition to the development and marketing team, helping us build capacity. She bridged a gap for our team that will pay off for years. The marketing templates she created will enable our team to learn and use high quality, on-brand, professional resources to conduct our work and present or ideas. Best of all, Quynh was a dream to work with; she is a good listener, patient, open to redirection, responsive while holding boundaries, and she is a talented [marketing] professional.”
